~ What I Hope To Achieve In 2019 ~


So this feels weird. The last time I posted was before Halloween, and even then I wasn’t feeling the content at all. To be honest, it’s been a long time since I really felt like writing on my blog. So to start 2019, I wanted to share some of my thoughts, plans and aspirations for the next 12 months.

It’s the biggest cliche in the world but… I don’t want to make resolutions this year as I never stick to them and always feel like a failure when I inevitably give up. So this year I’m twisting it slightly and making plans for things I hope to achieve in 2019. I’m not putting pressure on myself to change, just encouraging myself to work towards better things.


Welcome to 2018 | UPDATE


First off, let me start by wishing you all a very Happy New Year! I hope you all had an awesome time over the holidays and festive period. Other than being full of cold, my Christmas and New Year break was fab – I went to two weddings, spent time with almost all family members, ate way too much food and spent plenty of time catching up on sleep.

Now it’s time to look forward to 2018 and what I plan to achieve. My resolutions are pretty much the same every year – drink more water, lose a couple of stone, read more books etc. And this year is no different, except for one addition…

Some Thoughts On Blogging | PERSONAL


I posted on my Instagram Stories a couple of weeks ago that I’ve fallen out of love with my blog and asked for some advice from others who might have been in a similar situation before. Thank you to all those who sent me lovely messages. One piece of advice really stuck out to me, and that was from the lovely Parie Joshi, from Class & Glitter. She said “Write about the slump, always helps but you don’t have to press publish.” So here I am, forcing myself to write even though I’ve been feeling like I’ve run out of words. I thought today I would explore why I’ve fallen out of love with my blog. As I’m writing this, I’m still not sure if I’ll press publish or not. I feel like the best way to get everything off my mind is to brain dump so this will probably be way more open than you will ever have seen on my blog, here goes…
