I started my last post saying that I’m in a rut of just reviewing eyeshadow palettes, and today is no different. This time it’s the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette which I recently bought when Beauty Bay had 30% off this and the Taupe Notch palette. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Violet Voss eyeshadow palettes and this is the one which I’ve always wanted to get my hands on, so as soon as that email came through I was in there like swimwear.
I’m thinking of changing my blog name to The Eyeshadow Palette Reviewer as that’s all I seem to be doing at the minute (and I still have a couple more to go!). Let me know if you’re absolutely sick of them and I’ll hold off for a while. Today I’m reviewing the Jeffree Star Blood Sugar palette…
Can I ever have too many warm eyeshadow palettes? I think not. As you will soon see in some upcoming review posts, I’m a little bit addicted! But when you find your tones and you know it’s something you’ll get the use out of, then it makes perfect sense right?!
The Sigma Warm Neutrals Volume 2 palette is £27 and is available from Beauty Bay here. I saw it a few weeks ago and kept it on my wish list for a bit before finally giving in and ordering it. While I was waiting for it to arrive, I watched some YouTube tutorials and looked at looks on Pinterest (which I pretty much do every time I order a new palette, for inspo) and started to get excited!
It’s safe to say that a Beauty Bay voucher is the best present you can buy me for Christmas and New Year… and my in-laws do not let me down! They kindly gave me some vouchers for Christmas which I’ve been saving for any big new launches but honestly, I got tired of waiting and instead picked out some things which I already had on my wishlist. Does anyone else get like that – the voucher burns a hole in your wallet?! This isn’t a big haul but there’s some lovely goodies here…
A couple of weeks ago, Beauty Bay had a sale on Illamasqua products and it struck me that although I’ve seen / heard lots about the brand, and I have some items in my wishlist, I’ve never actually tried anything by them. I think the main reason for this is price – I always feel like their products are pretty expensive and I’m never sure if they’re going to be worth it. But since there was money off… I had a quick look at my wishlist and found two products which I really wanted to check out and bought them.
The two products which drew me in were the Matte Veil and the Beyond Powder in OMG.
