Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Highlighter | REVIEW

Review

For anyone who hasn’t heard of / seen Amrezy, let me tell you that she is 100% GLOW GOALS. Nobody shines like her, she’s unreal. So as soon as her collaboration with Anastasia Beverley Hills was announced I knew it was going to be all of our glowing dreams come true. I haven’t been this excited about a highlighter launch since the Becca x Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop hysteria. Therefore, as a self-confessed highlighter obsessive I felt it my duty to buy it and to review it for you all.

Illamasqua Matte Veil and Beyond Powder | REVIEW

Review

A couple of weeks ago, Beauty Bay had a sale on Illamasqua products and it struck me that although I’ve seen /  heard lots about the brand, and I have some items in my wishlist, I’ve never actually tried anything by them. I think the main reason for this is price – I always feel like their products are pretty expensive and I’m never sure if they’re going to be worth it. But since there was money off… I had a quick look at my wishlist and found two products which I really wanted to check out and bought them.

The two products which drew me in were the Matte Veil and the Beyond Powder in OMG.

Beauty Bakerie So Icy Illuminators | REVIEW

Review

Beauty Bakerie seemed to have come from nowhere and took the beauty world by storm. Their Lip Whips were the first thing to catch my eye as all over Instagram there were videos of people trying to wash swatches from their arms but they were going nowhere. I absolutely love the style and concept of the brand, it’s so cute but extremely clever. It’s one of those ideas that you can’t believe someone hasn’t come up with sooner. All the product names and packaging are, no suprises here, bakery related. So you’ve got the Flour setting powder, BROWnies eyebrow gel, Sprinkles glitters and the GELato gel eyeliners. But the first products I had to get my hands on were the So Icy Illuminators.

How To Fake Dewy Skin

Collection

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that with cold weather comes dry skin. Now I’m an oily girl, and I’m a fan of a matte base as it’s less likely to slide off my face throughout the day. But during winter months my skin does become dry in patches and this doesn’t mix well with a matte finish as it makes my skin look scaly.

In the Summer, my natural oils peek through to give a more healthy glow but in the colder months you have to find ways to fake it. So today, I’m sharing with you my favourite illuminators, which you can use under or mixed with foundation, to add some dew to dry skin.
